Red Rock is exactly what it seems, filled with tiny red rocks and oxidized iron content. This north-facing vineyard is steeply terraced and receives less direct sunlight as a result. “The fruit comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant notes of cassis, plum preserves, cedar chest, and pencil lead, plus wafts of black truffles, damp soil, and unsmoked cigars… packed with loads of subtle savory layers and textured by approachable, plush tannin's, finishing on a lingering fragrant earth note.

Mexico- 1821 is a special allocated release of extra anejo tequila. The tequila is made from 100% blue weber agave, and is double distilled in copper pots. It is then aged for a minimum of 36 months in white oak barrels for extra smoothness and quality.

A special project from basketball legend, billionaire, and owner of the Charlotte Hornets, Michael Jordan, Lakers co-owner Jeanie Buss, Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Edens and Celtics co-owner Wyc Grousbeck and Emilia Fazzalari, Cincoro Tequila is made from a celebrated blend of both valley, and highland agaves.

The bottle and packaging are a commissioned piece from Mark Smith, Vice President of Innovation Special Projects at Nike, while the name “Cincoro” comes from a blending of two Spanish words, “cinco” and “oro.”  The portmanteau pays homage to the five founding partners and their pursuit to create the gold standard in Tequila.

With the growing demand for aged rye whiskey, Kentucky Owl's inventory has dwindled. The Last Rye is the fourth and final release of this premium series, a 112.8-proof blend of Kentucky straight rye that has spent 10 to 13+ years in new charred oak barrels.

The 2017 Rubicon is expansive, with intriguing depth. The wine has exciting complexity below the surface, which enhances its expressiveness. There is a defined aromatic core of ripe red and black fruits, especially raspberry, black cherry, and cassis. It is seamless on the palate, with finely-polished tannins. The lingering finish is refreshing, with notes of crème de cassis and cocoa powder. Blend: 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc

The Pact is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the highest-elevation blocks of their

Coombsville vineyard, and harvest lots are treated as separate, small-batch parcels in the cellar. The 2018 opens with fresh aromas of black cherries, black currants and blue fruits with graphite, tobacco, star anise and cocoa powder notes rounding out the finish. The Pact is defined by minerality and purity, and its fine-grained tannins and natural acidity ensures that it will last for decades.

Tasted out of bottle, the 2014 Fracture is another incredible wine that flirts with perfection. Its saturated ruby color is followed by an awesome bouquet of creme de cassis, graphite, spring flowers, licorice and hints of minerality. A big, full-bodied, concentrated effort, it has building tannin, no hard edges, thrilling depth and a finish that keeps you coming back to the glass. Salome is our flagship wine, and it acts like one. An exotic full-bodied and complex bio-dynamic wine, Salome is made from tenderly hand-cultivated Saperavi grapes and features a long, lingering finish. Salome shares similar traits found in sophisticated California reds but, with its own unique characteristics, it marries western winemaking with Georgian earth and grapes.

Pure, with extremely low sulfites, Salome with its dark pomegranate color is fermented in oak casks and aged in French oak barrels. It's the 2019 edition of the wonderful annual limited edition single malt from Mars Shinshu! The no age statement whisky was drawn from American oak bourbon barrels, just like its 2018 predecessor, with subtle peated influence in there still. It's all bottled up at 48% ABV, packed full of citrus, fruit and floral notes.

The 2015 Smith-Haut-Lafitte is adorned with a special label to celebrate the 650th anniversary of the château and the 25th vintage made under the ownership of Daniel and Florence Cathiard. It is a blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, picked between 23 September until 12 October with the Cabernet Franc. Matured in 65% new oak (although technical director Fabien Teitgen mentioned that he could have added more if he felt it would benefit), it has a very intense, blueberry and crème de cassis scented bouquet, a touch more opulent than its peers with hints of freshly shucked oyster shell developing with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with filigree tannin couched in gorgeous, satin-textured black cherry and cassis fruit, tinged with cedar and pencil shavings. It lingers very long and sensually in the mouth, completing a sophisticated and powerful Smith Haut-Lafitte that should age in splendid fashion.

This marks the first time in 75 years that mountain fruit has been incorporated into our signature offering. Varietal Makeup: 99% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Petite Verdot Aging: 20 Months in new French Oak Barrels Vintage Information: Napa Valley’s 2016 Vintage was what some might call “typical”, with well-timed rain prior to and during the early growing season. The January rains left good moisture in the soil, bud-break came early and canopy growth was rapid and even. A warm but moderate summer followed, with fog mitigating the heat extremes and minimizing dehydration, leading to uniform growth overall.

We source grapes from thousand acre vineyards… and 1/4 acre vineyards. We work with fruit from Paso Robles’ east side, west side, and the farthest southern and northern reaches of the AVA We’ve purchased fruit from many of the regions greatest vineyards, like Saxum’s James Berry vineyard. We’ve bought grapes from vineyards that no one knows but us. We pick grapes by hand and drive them to our small winery in the back of our old chevy truck. We foot stomp grapes when the skins are too thick and the grapes too small for any other crush method to work. We’ve left juice on the skins for months to transform them and build long silky tannins. We’ve made wines where the only added ingredient is grapes.. We use some of the best barrels from the finest coopers of France….. in moderation. We believe that the diversity of soil and microclimates in Paso Robles can produce grapes among the best in the world. We believe that collectable wines can only be made only made from a rigorous barrel selection. Special wines are made from special vintages with careful selection in the vineyards. We believe that when everything goes right, Paso Robles has the potential to make the finest wines in the world. This wine has been completely hand and foot made from the vineyard to box by the six hands and feet that represent the Broadside team Ephemera represents Broadside’s view of the best that Paso Robles can offer.

Wood tones dominate this wine when it's first opened, bringing ginger beer and a masculine, cologne-like scent to the savory, Morello cherry flavors. It develops floral aromas with air, a powerful cherry weightlessness that opens up and races past the woody curves of the finish. A stylized rose, this has an intriguing character to back it up. For seared duck breast or other gamey meats.

Tasting Notes
Our Rose is announced with a rich bouquet of red fruits with delicate, smoky grilled notes behind. It is fresh and full-bodied on the palate with aromas of strawberries and blackcurrant, and is lingering and complex in its finish. Armand de Brignac Rose is produced in extremely limited quantities - even by comparison to our boutique Brut Gold.
