A unique limited edition of Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2012 designed by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. It is with its iconic symbols, the flower and the polka dots, that Yayoi Kusama adorns La Grande 2012 gift box and bottle. The polka dots, Yayoi Kusama's signature patterns evoke the Champagne bubbles. Created in honor of Madame Clicquot called "La Grande Dame de Champagne" in her time, La Grande Dame perfectly expresses the Maison's love for Pinot Noir.

Initial notes of white flowers on the nose, such as jasmine, honeysuckle and vine flowers can be felt and then opens with fruitier nuances of apple, pear and peach. The aim with Master’s Keep Voyage was to create a unique spirit that captured the hallmarks of both bourbon and rum-making. To do so Dr. Joy Spence hand selected some of the finest casks from the iconic Jamaican rum house – casks which previously held 14-year-old pot still rum and would best complement the bold top notes and rich caramel undertones of Wild Turkey’s extra-aged bourbons. The casks were then brought to the Wild Turkey Distilling Co. in Lawrenceburg, KY, where they were filled with Eddie Russell’s own hand selected batch of 10-year-old bourbon, which had been aged in Wild Turkey’s classic No. 4 char barrels. After finishing in the Kentucky heat of a timber rickhouse, the result is a tropically influenced American icon, bursting with a palate of fruits, caramel and aged oak, and a warm, long-lasting finish of chocolate and spice.

Since its launch, the Little Book series has served as Noe’s personal exploration of blending, honoring the legacy of his grandfather, legendary master distiller Booker Noe, while pushing the boundaries of American whiskey.

Chapter 10 marks a philosophical shift for the distiller. Rather than pursuing precision, Noe adopted a more intuitive approach for this release, allowing the whiskey itself to guide the blending process.

The blend draws from a spectrum of aged expressions across the James B. Beam Distilling Co. portfolio. Components finished in sherry casks and toasted bourbon casks are among the whiskeys included in the final blend.

The official tasting notes from the brand describe a deep auburn color with an aroma of "layers of fig, raisin and molasses." The palate is "full-bodied with velvety caramel, cinnamon and oak," leading to "a long finish with seasoned oak and raisin."

The Little Book series has grown into one of the most collectible annual releases in the American whiskey category. Each chapter explores a different theme and blending concept, with previous editions incorporating combinations of bourbon, rye, malt whiskey, and grain whiskey from various sources within the Beam Suntory family of distilleries.

A wine of great finesse, distinguished and elegant. The color is pure and bright, with light glints of white gold. The aromas evoke trees in bloom and white flesh fruit, like white peaches. With age, the aromas evolve towards almond and lightly grilled dried fruit. On the palate, there is a sensation of fresh silkiness. Long and persistent in the aftertaste, ending on an exceptional wealth of flavors, both floral and fruity. The wines from the Côte d'Or mature well and have good balance between sugar and acid.

Supply: this wine comes from grapes and musts purchased from supply partners according to rigorous specifications.

Harvest: grapes harvested by hands in open-work crates. If necessary, a careful sorting is proceeded.

Vinification: total destemming. In accordance with the terroir and the profile of the vintage, we do 2 to 3 weeks of fermentation and maceration in small open vats, marked by punching of the cap and pumping-over. The yeasts are indigenous (natural). Pressing in a vertical press. Separation of the ends of the presses based on tasting.

Ageing:  in oak barrels including 20 to 25% of new barrels.
The ageing lasts between 14 to 16 months.

Origin of the wood: oak grown in French high forest.

Throughout the ageing process, decisions are taken only after careful tasting evaluation. The data obtained is completed through technical analysis. As with every other Joseph Drouhin wine, absolute priority is given to the true expression of terroir and character of the vintage.

From Chassagne's northern sector bordering Puligny, near the Grand Cru Criots Bâtard-Montrachet, this premier cru Chardonnay grows on 45-year-old vines with south-southeast exposure. Aged on fine lees for over a year in 15% new oak, the wine shows ripe concentration: lemon curd, frangipane, baking spices, white pepper. Full-bodied and textured, intensely flavored with the mineral spine and richness that defines the appellation's best whites.

This Puligny-Montrachet has pronounced licorice and acacia blossom aromas. Quite a succulent wine with good concentration and fine tannins that give it precise contours. Excellent clarity in the long, straight and animating finish. Drink or hold.
