Pale and vibrant in color. The Pascal Jolivet Sancerre is fresh, clean and screaming with racy acidity. On the palate it is fresh and tightly wound; acidity is tempered by very subtle residual sugar; very clean; alive, racy, youthful. Overall, a dry and elegant wine.
Pale yellow color with golden highlights Very intense first nose on candied citrus and ripened exotic fruits. After swirling, the wine reveals subtle notes of oregano and thyme. Lastly, hints of vanilla brings more complexity to this concentrated nose. In mouth, the attack is fresh with notes of citrus. Generous mid-palate wih a touch of fatness. The flowery notes of honeysuckle bring freshness to the wine. Savoury bitter notes with citrus peels on the finish.
An outstanding, textbook Sancerre. Lucien Crochet is renowned for his excellent Loire wines, and “La Croix du Roy” Sancerre is one of them. Vinified in stainless steel with a late racking to insure that the wine captures the essence of the terroir, allowing the Sauvignon Blanc’s raw material rather than any oak dressing to carry the day. Notes of Citrus fruit with delightful earthy and herbal tones, this is exactly what a great Sancerre should be with white stone-fruits emerging, a chalky minerality on the palate and a pleasing Yuzu citrus finish.
White wine from the Sauvignon grape variety, with aromas of white flowers and a lemony nose.
The vines are 20 to 30 years old. They are planted on clay-limestone soil. The harvest is mechanical.
The aging is carried out in stainless steel vats for 6 to 8 months on fine lees, which gives it an ample and generous mouth, and gives a good length in the mouth.
To be enjoyed as an aperitif with seafood and certain fish.
A lively pale-gold color in the glass. The aromas are dominated by an undeniable Amalfi lemon zest note, with pith, chamomile, mandarin blossom, and crushed limestone. The mouthfeel is bright and full of tension, with layers of apricot, lemon, and spice with zippy acidity and a lengthy finish. A precise, crisp, and memorable Sancerre.
Brimming with freshness and purity, the 2023 Sancerre La Moussière White opens with a refined profile marked by citrus zest and delicate chalky nuances. On the palate, it’s crisp, dry, and beautifully sculpted, with a refined texture, subtle bitterness, and floral overtones leading the way. A savoury, well-balanced wine that’s already drinking beautifully—showcasing the full skill of the Pinard brothers. Rated 92–93/100 by the Selection Committee.

This Cuvee is very floral. Fine crisp and very classic Sauvignon bland by Vincent Pinard, there is plenty of fruit here, lemon, lime, and grapefruit zest with ripe juicy acidity. A strong complex terroir dimension is obvious too, with its chalky, mineral touches.
Serve cold! 2021 strikes a wonderful balance between the fleshier, warmer 2020 vintage and the more angular, high-toned 2018 and 2019 versions. Riper red berry fruit sings over the tart finish resulting in a pleasurable, quenching crunch. A perfected adult version of Sour Patch Kids candy. A floaty fleshiness develops by the second glass - which, by the way, arrives quickly - with some mellowing watermelon notes on the mid-palate.
