The 2022 Château Haut Mondain Bordeaux, a blend of 85% merlot and 15% cabernet sauvignon, has aromas of raspberries, wild strawberries, and jammy blackberries entwined with subtle dried plum and cherry notes. The palate is full-bodied and silky, mirroring the ripe, concentrated fruit characters found on the nose. These are complemented by a hint of red spice and cedar, alongside smoky, earthy notes and undertones of licorice and chocolate. The finish is long and generous, with lingering notes of fruit, spice, and a hint of white pepper.
