Red Wine Penfolds Bin 389 2020 Cabernet Shiraz

Often called ‘Baby Grange’ in the world of Penfolds fans, the components of Bin 389 are matured in the same barrels that previously held Grange in their oaken embrace. The nose is lifted, fragrant, and immediately identifiable as classic Penfolds with layers of custard and port-wine dark jelly over hints of coconut and juniper. The palate is a balance of sweet and savory with the 2020 black forest cake profile and black cherry liqueur. It’s substantial and intense, but already delicious.
