This limited-edition release begins as El Tesoro’s traditional añejo tequila — crafted from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave, slow-cooked in stone ovens, double-distilled, and aged in American oak. It is then finished for 12 months in Yamazaki’s sherry and wine casks, previously used to mature Yamazaki 12-Year Single Malt Whisky.
The result is a harmonious blend of Mexican tequila heritage and Japanese oak artistry, yielding a rich, layered spirit that bridges two worlds of craftsmanship through deep wood influence and agave purity.
Tasting Notes:
