Salome is our flagship wine, and it acts like one. An exotic full-bodied and complex bio-dynamic wine, Salome is made from tenderly hand-cultivated Saperavi grapes and features a long, lingering finish. Salome shares similar traits found in sophisticated California reds but, with its own unique characteristics, it marries western winemaking with Georgian earth and grapes.

Pure, with extremely low sulfites, Salome with its dark pomegranate color is fermented in oak casks and aged in French oak barrels. Rich and opulent on the palate, and framed by a solid tannic structure with soft, curvy oak tones, Salome features hints of tobacco leaf and dark fruits.  An everlasting romance in a glass.

Thanks to a unique combination of natural alchemy and centuries old craftsmanship, The Balvenie is unique among single malts. We still grow our own barley and keep faith with a traditional malting floor, the last of its kind in the Scottish Highlands. Our resident coppersmith maintains the stills and our team of coopers ensure each barrel is in perfect condition. And of course, our Malt Master presides over the all-important maturation process.

One of the oldest, and richest, dynasties in the Seven Kingdoms, House Lannister will do anything to retain its power and influence over the Iron Throne. Their ferocious intent is aptly represented by the clawing lion of House Lannister’s banner which demonstrates that, if you cross them, you will hear the violent roar of House Lannister which has left many houses in ruins.

Lagavulin 9 Year Old is a roaring single malt that leaves an intensely smoky flavour in every sip. The golden liquid recalls the Lannisters’ riches and comes from being exclusively matured in first fill ex-Bourbon casks. The nose is characteristic of Lagavulin and bursts with sweet smoke, with a slightly zestier, maritime scent than other expressions. On the palate it opens with smoky, caramelised banana, burnt marshmallow and vanilla, fading 

Fueled by the same fiery spirit of the fierce female leadership of Daenerys Targaryen, this single malt celebrates legendary women and their unwavering perseverance. It's the 2019 edition of the wonderful annual limited edition single malt from Mars Shinshu! The no age statement whisky was drawn from American oak bourbon barrels, just like its 2018 predecessor, with subtle peated influence in there still. It's all bottled up at 48% ABV, packed full of citrus, fruit and floral notes.

A wine of great finesse, distinguished and elegant. The color is pure and bright, with light glints of white gold. The aromas evoke trees in bloom and white flesh fruit, like white peaches. With age, the aromas evolve towards almond and lightly grilled dried fruit. On the palate, there is a sensation of fresh silkiness. Long and persistent in the aftertaste, ending on an exceptional wealth of flavors, both floral and fruity. The wines from the Côte d'Or mature well and have good balance between sugar and acid.

Derange Napa Valley Red Wine is a delicious red blend full of flavors and aromas of black cherry, clove spice, blackberry cobbler and vanilla toast. Hand-picked and carefully selected cabernet sauvignon grapes provide structure and density to this California red wine, while the petite sirah varietal provides mid-palate richness and concentration. Meanwhile, merlot grapes offer juiciness and acidity and the syrah varietal adds earthiness, depth and a touch of spice. Zinfandel brings a softness that ties all the varietals together. Barrel aged in French oak casks for 18 months after going through stainless steel and malolactic fermentation, this red wine blend fills the palate with soft tannins and a balanced acidity. Store this barrel aged wine at room temperature to preserve its quality, and refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes before serving with bread and cheese, mushroom dishes or a cheeseburger.

The 2016 Opus One is remarkably elegant and bright offering sumptuous aromas of fresh red and blue fruit, baking spices and vanilla, and a delicate fragrance of spring florals. The initial bouquet is augmented by more nuanced notes of sage, rosemary, and black olive. Juicy flavors of black cherry, blackberry and cassis flood the palate and creamy, fine-grained tannins deliver a delightfully round structure. Harmonious and lively, the flavors linger to create an enduring finish with touches of dark chocolate and espresso. Blend: 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 2% Malbec

The 2015 Smith-Haut-Lafitte is adorned with a special label to celebrate the 650th anniversary of the château and the 25th vintage made under the ownership of Daniel and Florence Cathiard. It is a blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, picked between 23 September until 12 October with the Cabernet Franc. Matured in 65% new oak (although technical director Fabien Teitgen mentioned that he could have added more if he felt it would benefit), it has a very intense, blueberry and crème de cassis scented bouquet, a touch more opulent than its peers with hints of freshly shucked oyster shell developing with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with filigree tannin couched in gorgeous, satin-textured black cherry and cassis fruit, tinged with cedar and pencil shavings. It lingers very long and sensually in the mouth, completing a sophisticated and powerful Smith Haut-Lafitte that should age in splendid fashion.

A warm but moderate summer followed, with fog mitigating the heat extremes and minimizing dehydration, leading to uniform growth overall.

We source grapes from thousand acre vineyards… and 1/4 acre vineyards. We work with fruit from Paso Robles’ east side, west side, and the farthest southern and northern reaches of the AVA We’ve purchased fruit from many of the regions greatest vineyards, like Saxum’s James Berry vineyard. We’ve bought grapes from vineyards that no one knows but us. We pick grapes by hand and drive them to our small winery in the back of our old chevy truck. We foot stomp grapes when the skins are too thick and the grapes too small for any other crush method to work. We’ve left juice on the skins for months to transform them and build long silky tannins. We’ve made wines where the only added ingredient is grapes.. We use some of the best barrels from the finest coopers of France….. in moderation. We believe that the diversity of soil and microclimates in Paso Robles can produce grapes among the best in the world. We believe that collectable wines can only be made only made from a rigorous barrel selection. Special wines are made from special vintages with careful selection in the vineyards. We believe that when everything goes right, Paso Robles has the potential to make the finest wines in the world. This wine has been completely hand and foot made from the vineyard to box by the six hands and feet that represent the Broadside team Ephemera represents Broadside’s view of the best that Paso Robles can offer.

This is full of lush, dark fruit with a streamlined elegance and freshness. Green pepper and the earthiness just absolutely scream Cabernet Franc. 30% of the vines are 25 years old, 70% are 80 years old. Grown on a 1 hectare parcel with shale soil, around Rablay-sur-Layon with 3 weeks of maceration, and 1 year of ageing in barrel. Only 4,000 made per year.

Rogues’ Banquet is a gastronomically-inspired Limited Edition, made for the gourmands and the hedonists who have accompanied us for the last two decades. Created to kickstart our 20th anniversary celebrations, it embodies the joyful possibilities – the delight and the indulgence – of dining together.

The whisky launched in March 2020 just as gatherings of people were first discouraged, then outlawed entirely. We hope that, with the passing weeks, people will be able to enjoy each other’s company again safely and pour something delicious at the same time.

Mexico- This is a limited production of highly allocated Tequila Clase Azul Joven. It has a nose of hazelnut, caramel, wood, walnut, vanilla and dried raisins. The taste is a balance of oak, ginger, green olives, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, and fig with a citrus end note.

Wood tones dominate this wine when it's first opened, bringing ginger beer and a masculine, cologne-like scent to the savory, Morello cherry flavors. It develops floral aromas with air, a powerful cherry weightlessness that opens up and races past the woody curves of the finish. A stylized rose, this has an intriguing character to back it up. For seared duck breast or other gamey meats.

Tasting Notes
Our Rose is announced with a rich bouquet of red fruits with delicate, smoky grilled notes behind. It is fresh and full-bodied on the palate with aromas of strawberries and blackcurrant, and is lingering and complex in its finish. Armand de Brignac Rose is produced in extremely limited quantities - even by comparison to our boutique Brut Gold.

50% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier, and 10% Chardonnay

The red rocky soil of this northfacing site originates from high in the Vaca Mountains. St. Eden, which appeared first in the 2001 vintage, reliably shows great focus, an opulent "sweet" center and notes of crème de cassis, dark chocolate, and roasted herbs. Mineral-tinged and broad on the palate, the wine consistently displays fine-grained tannins and a lush concentration.
