Shenk’s Homestead Distillery Sour Mash Whiskey honors the legacy of historic American whiskey figure John Shenk, who in 1753 founded a distillery that was to become known as Michter’s in the 20th Century. It is made in Kentucky according to the traditional Sour Mash process whereby a portion of the previously distilled whiskey mash (referred to as “setback”) is added into the next batch. This full-bodied small batch whiskey is 91.2 proof.

Shenk’s is a Sour Mash Whiskey made with a substantial amount of rye. The unique character of this 2022 offering results from our aging a portion of the whiskey in special toasted French oak barrels that were made from 24 month air dried wood sourced from the Vosges region of France. The exacting toast profile chosen for these French barrels by our Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson highlights fruit, spice, honey, and delicate oak.

A unique limited edition of Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2012 designed by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. It is with its iconic symbols, the flower and the polka dots, that Yayoi Kusama adorns La Grande 2012 gift box and bottle. The polka dots, Yayoi Kusama's signature patterns evoke the Champagne bubbles. Created in honor of Madame Clicquot called "La Grande Dame de Champagne" in her time, La Grande Dame perfectly expresses the Maison's love for Pinot Noir.

Initial notes of white flowers on the nose, such as jasmine, honeysuckle and vine flowers can be felt and then opens with fruitier nuances of apple, pear and peach. A few notes of fresh almond and frangipane complete the bouquet. In the mouth, the cuvée reveals more complex aromas: dried apricot, hazelnuts, honey and sugar candy. Silky textures give the wine its personality, elegance and character. The aging has imparted particular depth and power to the wine.

La Grande Dame matches perfectly with freshly picked vegetables, herbs and fruits, offering endless possibilities thanks to a wide aromatic palette. "Grands Crus" vegetables for Grands Crus grapes. Savor the elegant simplicity of these "Grands Crus" vegetables with an accompaniment of quail, skate wing or sea urchin.

WA 98 "Sugarloaf is a cooler site in south Napa, above a quarry. It usually allows for a longer hang time, often lending a minty or herbal lift to this label. The deep garnet-purple colored 2012 Proprietary Red Sugarloaf Mountain is a blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Deep garnet colored, it offers up notes of fruitcake, exotic spices, prunes, black truffles and Morello cherries with hints of garrigue, tilled earth and bay leaves. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers a firm foundation of ripe, grainy, tannins supporting the bright, vibrant fruit, finishing long and with a minty lift. 225 cases were made. This limited-edition expression pays tribute to the colorful history of the Mitchell’s whiskey bonding business which commenced in 1887 when the bonders sent empty wine and fortified wine casks to the local Jameson Distillery, in Bow Street, to be filled with new single pot still spirit for maturation in its underground cellars. Once filled, the fortified wine casks would be marked with a daub or ‘spot’ of colored paint, to determine the age potential with Blue Spot, Green Spot, Yellow Spot and Red Spot, respectively indicating the 7, 10, 12 and 15 years of the celebrated expression within the Spot range.

The color gold symbolizes quality, prestige, specialness and celebration and so the Mitchells chose this color to signify their enduring relationship with whiskey bonding over seven generations and 135 years. The Mardikian Estate is not only a standout, it is also our flagship; I approach every wine with precision - the vineyard brings all the complexity and the oak should simply be the background and support the fruit, not take the lead role. On this vintage, aromas of ripe black cherries and clove are complemented by flavors of dark berries and notes of forest floor. Silky, elegant tannins work in tandem with the layered flavors and hints of smoke as a subtle acidity provides a beautiful lift to complete the wine.

Macallan 12 Year Old Early 2000s Round Bottle

When Macallan assumed the responsibility for their own bottlings from Campbell, Hope & King in 1980, they inherited both an 8 and 12 year old age-statement release, quickly adding a new 10 year old into the mix as well. The 12 year old however was the firm favourite, and is the only of the three still in production today, bottled as part of the Sherry Oak Cask line of the core range.

This is the packaging used between 1999 and 2004. Imported to the USA by Remy Amerique, New York. 

A blend of malt and grain whiskies and aged for 3 years in oak barrels.The natural elements of Scottish water and climate all influence the characteristics of Scottish Piper making it a superior blended scotch whisky. Longmorn Distillery was established in 1893 just north of Fogwat and beside the Strathspey Railway which whisked its deep and sumptuous whisky south to the scotch blenders. Longmorn Distillery is a Speyside malt whisky distillery and is now equipped with eight stills. Although Longmorn Distillery does not have a visitor centre it often participates in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival when a few lucky visitors can tour the distillery.

Laphroaig is a highly-acclaimed brand of premium Islay single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Larphoraig Distillery,
founded in 1815 by Donald and Alexander Johnston. The brand has changed hands multiple times over the years beginning in
the 1960s until it was purchased by Beam Suntory of Suntory Holdings in 2014. Laphroaig is recognized as producing some of
the most deeply flavored Scotch whiskies on the market and is the only whisky to carry the Royal Warrant of the Prince of
Wales, awarded in 1994. The brand offers a range of products including several very rare and expensive expressions such as
their discontinued 18 year old iteration (last offered in 2015). Notably, Laphroaig is unlike many other blended Scotch makers
in that it malts its own barley. The barley is finished in special kilns with over 205 years of seasoning – leaving a truly defining
note that Laphroaig fans have come to know and crave.

Lammerlaw is a blend of New Zealand malt whiskies developed to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the marketing of Wilson’s New Zealand whisky products, distilled at New Zealands only whisky distillery, in Dunedin.

The name Lammerlaw relates to the Lammerlaw mountain range which is located some 30 miles westward of Dunedin. The malt blends chosen for Lammerlaw are distilled in the same traditions of of the Scotch whisky industry, distilled more than 10 years ago, carefully maturing in imported oak casks at our warehouse on the Taieri Plains.

Unfortunately the blends that make up Lammerlaw are not in abundant supply, which necessitates this particular whisky being restricted in availability.

Sourced from select and diverse parcels from across Napa Valley, this rich and exuberant Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a showstopper. An intriguing bouquet opens with pronounced aromas of ripe blackberry and red cherry, underpinned by perfumed floral and savory herbal notes of dried rose petal, potpourri, sage, and mint. The wine is full-bodied with beautiful texture and depth on the palate, with multi-layered finesse and crowd-pleasing drinkability. On the palate, juicy cassis, blackberry, and red cherry are supported by notes of crushed red rose, tea leaf, and chocolate, giving this Cabernet a beguiling plushness and warmth. Finishing smooth and dry, with soft tannins and a lingering perfume of cassis, violet and dark chocolate. This dazzling Cabernet can easily pair alongside a variety of cuisines and culinary dishes.

Notes from proprietor Jayson Woodbridge - "This is a wine which Winston Churchill would have been drinking whilst insulting Hitler or some pandering moron. The wine is dark and rich and is not for the faint of heart, if you are looking for a light table wine, go away, quickly...this is wine for drinking, eating and making love."

This Cabernet Sauvignon presents with deep, dark reds and purples. Aromas are opulent with ripe black plum, currant, blackberry, anise, espresso and toasted oak, as well as a subtle thread of crème brûlée. A rich, dense profile follows with flavors of cassis and plum, ripe black fruits, espresso, mocha and molasses, with a fine French oak influence. This is a deep, structured wine with excellent fine-grained tannins.

This year’s uncut and unfiltered Thomas H. Handy was distilled in the spring of 2015, aged 6 years in warehouses I, L, O, and K, and bottled at 129.5 proof. "The flavor profile includes anise and cinnamon with a rich finish of spearmint and chocolate," says the distillery.
