Red Wine Benati 2020 Etna Rosso

This comes from a mix of 3 different vineyards from both the north and south slope of Etna. A formidable fresher blend that is sanguine on the palate and full of character reminiscent of Burgundy. This vintage in particular is outstanding. The 80% of Nerello Cappuccio and Mascalese are harvested and vinified separately. Twenty percent of the Nerello Mascalese is aged in used barrels. The fruit was entirely destemmed and they bottle multiple lots per year.
