Marissa, co-owner of Anchor & Hope, grew up training fiery young horses and devoted herself completely to her passion. On the other side of the country, Scot Bilbro was taming wild Grenache vines on his father’s heritage vineyards in Sonoma and Mendocino. The varietal is temperamental and unpredictable, even in the warm California sun. This Grenache is loud and bursting with flavors of cherries and wild berries with earthy, smokey and herbal notes. Pair with duck confit or hearty braised veg and some shoestring fries.
This wine is part of the Anchor & Hope art series. The label is a painting by Massachusetts artist Kristin Stashenko, co-owner Marissa’s mom. For more information, please visit KristinStashenko.com.
