Organic liter of glou glou wine

​Lambrusco and conviviality go hand in hand, and Denny Bini’s red fizz has been a favorite of ours for so many get-togethers that we often informally call it ​festa,​ or party. This is a classic Emilian Lambrusco, with a more depth to the fruit, since Denny works so carefully in the vineyard: sweet-sour berries, with that classic Emilian bitter note on the finish.

Cave du Château de Chénas Coeur De Granit 2022 Gamay is produced from grapes sourced from vines grown in granitic soils. Fragrant and fresh, look for ripe red berry, red currant, pink florals and Christmas cake spice flavours on this zesty Gamay from the Beaujolais wine region. The wine was aged in stainless-steel tanks to preserve fruit freshness. This vintage was awarded Gold at the 2023 Concours International du Gamay.

Food pairings: grilled pork tenderloin, roast chicken, lamb chops from the grill.

Côtes du Rhône. Fruity and fleshy with beautiful tannins, it’s a great everyday wine made almost exclusively from our Grand Prébois vineyards (for the Grenache) and our Vinsobres vineyards (for the Syrah). Pretty deep color. The nose offers a beautiful aromatic complexity, marked by Grenache and a hint of blackcurrant brought by the ripe Syrah. On the palate, it shows complexity with tannins still present, but with finesse and elegance, and a beautiful freshness.

The vineyard is located on terraces overlooking the village of Bourg Saint Andeol and the Rhone Valley. Notes of ripe red fruit, thyme and pepper.

Produced with organically grown and selected Nerello Mascalese grapes, this wine is an authentic expression of one of the noblest Sicilian native varieties. It has a vivid ruby color and a very fragrant aroma featuring floral scents, notes of wild strawberry and red currant, with slightly spicy hints. Dry and well balanced on the palate, it reveals a good freshness and a pleasant red fruit finish.

G.D. Vajra Nebbiolo Langhe displays a bright ruby red color. Perfumes are vibrant, with a floral bouquet of rose petals, violets and fresh berries, hints of dark fruit, lavender and mint. Elegant and complex on the palate with layers of crunchy red fruits, orange peel, sweet spices with earthy and mineral undertones.

Garnet red color with a lively core. The nose opens with fresh and crushed flowers, bright Nebbiolo aromatics and light balsamic notes. The mouth is vibrant and energetic, enriched by tones of rose petal, fresh red fruits, spices, tobacco and orange peel. Long, with fine and velvet tannins. 

• Marsannay is the village which marks the northern gateway to the Côte d'Or when leaving Dijon, the capital of Burgundy and home to the Ducs de Bourgogne. This village marks the beginning of the Route des Grands Crus which follows the N6 highway through the Côte d'Or. Wines from Marsannay are generally lively and robust; characteristics that come from the rich iron soil. Marsannay received its Appellation Contrôlée in 1987 in recognition of its consistently high quality wine.

This wine offers the classic bouquet of Chateauneuf du Pape, with species, undergrowth fragrance, resin mixed with kirsh and blueberries. It is as the same time powerful and elegant with a great balance.

Blueberries, lavender and dark cherries with black pepper spices. Elegant and juicy on the palate, rounded by fresh, fine-grained tannins. Not quite intense but well-balanced with some nice length and quality tannins. Drink now. (James Suckling)

2018 Hess Collection Lion Tamer Red This red blend brings all the roar of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah, and when blended with Malbec, produces a big, lush wine that finishes with smooth and tamed round tannins.
